Goat

Description

UPDATED 11/17/2018 Raw goat milk shares are currently available. Please email us at fetchinfarms@gmail.com (email is the best way to reach us as we are usually out working with the goats). Our farm is now located in Lakewood Colorado. Goats are free ranged on 1 acre and fed alfalfa and organic, soy free, corn free and GMO free grain. Fetchin Farms is a small farm of 10 goats who love to have visitors. In addition to tours we offer a monthly “goat gab” group that meets at the farm (this is the third Sunday of the month from 2 to 4:00 pm at the farm). This is an informal group where we talk about goats, learn about goats and exchange ideas. We would love to show you around our farm and introduce you to our herd. Fetchin Farms has been in business since 2008 and began with a small herd from Haystack Goat Dairy. We raise La Mancha, Mini-manchas, La Mancha/Alpine goats. We also have a very active internship program and work closely with volunteers to learn about dairy goats and classes in goat husbandry. Our philosophy is to educate the public as to the nature of goat milking via volunteer/intern programs (we take two volunteers each season), small farm tours and raw milk shares for the surrounding community. We currently have an opening for an intern. We attempt to milk year-round. All of our goats are CAE free as well as tested for TB and Brucellosis annually. Pick up is available at our Lakewood farm. Sorry we don’t offer delivery. Please contact us if you are interested in attending goat care classes or having a class at your farm! We do not offer any other products besides raw milk. Contact us today! We also offer goat-sitting and goat milking services.
