Light Root Community Farm offers herd shares from our 100% grass-fed dairy. We milk 12 cows on a Once-A Day system producing rich creamy milk from our mixed herd of Ayrshire, Jersey, and Guernsey cows. Cows are on pasture and rotationally grazed in the spring and summer, and supplemented with organic alfalfa hay and grass hay during the winter months. We work with Biodynamic farming practices to produce fresh, pure, nutrient-dense milk for the Boulder area with pick up available at the farm each week. Update–herd shares available as of 12/01/18
