Cow Milk

Description

At Moe Acres, we run a small family farm and micro dairy dedicated to producing clean, high-quality raw milk through a herdshare program. Our cows are part of our family, and their care comes first in every part of what we do.

Our herd is made up of Holstein crosses and a Jersey, milked daily. They enjoy pasture time, home-grown forage, and a balanced ration designed for both health and flavor. We believe healthy cows make the best milk — and it shows in every jar.

We keep things simple and honest: milked, chilled right away, and bottled fresh for our herdshare members. No large-scale production, no shortcuts, just real milk the way it’s always been meant to be.

We currently offer herdshare pickup points in Falcon, Calhan, and Colorado Springs, and Monument with plans to expand as our herd grows. Our farm focuses on transparency, quality, and community — giving families a way to reconnect with where their food comes from.

Description

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” -Mahatma Gandhi

Mountain Flower Goat Dairy provides Raw Milk shares from our hand-raised Nubian, LaMancha, Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf goat herd living on the farm. Our goats have access to over three acres of pasture on the property to roam, play, eat and lounge. All of our alfalfa and grass hay is unsprayed and sourced from local farms. Our grain is organic and does not contain any soy or GMOs. We believe in caring for our goats naturally and only use antibiotics when absolutely necessary.

We invite you to come meet the goats and visit the farm. We are conveniently located on the Long’s Garden’s iris farm in the heart of Boulder. PLEASE contact us before visiting and we are happy to schedule a visit with you!

Peace, love and goats!
