Farm Type

Cow Milk

Description

Sunny Meadows Ranch is a family run micro dairy tucked into the gentle, wind-swept plains just outside of Ramah. Here, our heritage breed Brown Swiss graze on native grasses under wide open skies. Our animals spend their days rotating through open fields, eating fresh forage and benefiting from sustainable, regenerative land management. A clean, natural diet of pasture and local hay supports healthy cows and flavorful milk. Each cow is known by name. Calves stay close to their mothers and calf share the milk, fostering happy herds and high-quality milk. Our milking process is gentle hand‑milking, always with sanitation and care at the forefront. We offer limited shares of our creamy, unpasteurized milk directly to local families, with transparent pricing and pickup from the ranch.

Why Sunny Meadows stands out:
Surrounded by soft prairie hills and wide-open skies, the ranch offers a serene, authentic Colorado agricultural experience. Sunlight, grass, and attentive care combine to create milk naturally rich in butterfat and local minerals. We welcome visitors for tours, sampling, and educational chats about raw milk, regenerative farming, and pasture health.
