Welcome to Swift Family Farm! We are a small family farm located on the Eastern Plains of Colorado. We are not open to the public, but always love visitors by appointment only. We have always dreamed of owning our own hobby farm and living a more self sustainable lifestyle. We moved from Suburbia in February 2015 and have been growing our little farm bit by bit. The idea for the farm project began as a way to get away from the suburban life we had known, to learn to live in a much more self-sufficient and sustainable way, and to see just how much we could do for ourselves and on our own. We have raised baby chicks and poults into entertaining, sweet chickens and turkey’s (for organic eggs and meat ), beautiful Angora fiber rabbits and our fun & cute show quality Holland Lops. We added Nubian & Nigerian Dwarf Goats for Goats Milk, a Miniature Jersey for RAW Cows Milk and Babydoll Southdown Sheep to mix with the Angora Fiber, not to mention our large Organic Garden for fresh produce (coming 2021).
