Approximate Location & Driving Directions: North side of Canon City, 2 miles north of local hospital (St. Thomas Moore Hospital).
Products offered: Goat milk, goat cheeses and meat goats.
Farm description; Our dairy has 6 acres without pasture. We are a Grade A dairy and licensed for fluid milk in our processing plant. Our herd consists of primarily Nubians and Nubian-Alpines with some Boer crosses. Started about 1 year ago with the dairy, but have been raising goats for 3 years. We are also a Colorado Proud member.
Philosophy- We strive to produce high quality milk & cheeses while being good stewards to animals and the land. Our goal is to be all natural, but the welfare of our animals comes first. So any animals that get sick are treated and pulled from the milk line for that season. The feeds we use are high quality hay and Purina Goat Chow. Our milking season begins in February and goes through November.
